Gap Filler is a creative urban regeneration initiative that has facilitated a wide range of temporary projects, events, installations and amenities in Christchurch. Gap Filler was initially formed in response to the September 2010 earthquake in Christchurch, then expanded after the February 2011 quake.
I first connected with Gap Filler when I returned from living overseas and have worked with them on many projects including: creating a mural for the Dance-O-Mat; illustrating tshirts for the Pallet Pavilion; developing the artwork for the Gap Map; created the art installation Knit Happens; painting a giraffe for Gap Filler for Christchurch Stands Tall; and more!
